A Nevada resident nearly all his life, Gil Suarez Jr. graduated from Reed High School in Sparks, Nevada.   In 1985, Gil received an academic and athletic scholarship to the University of Nevada-Reno (Reno, Nevada).   He went on to play tennis for the UNR Wolf Pack as well as received his Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in 1989.   Gil then moved on to Baltimore, Maryland in the summer of 1989 to attend The Baltimore College of Dental Surgery at the University of Maryland.   In 1993 he received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery (DDS) Degree, graduating with honors in addition to the Oral Pathology Award from his distinguished School.  

In the summer of 1993, Dr. Gil Suarez Jr. moved to Jackson, Mississippi to further his Professional training with a hospital Dental Residency at the University of Mississippi Medical Center.   During the hospital residency, Dr. Suarez had medical rotations in anesthesia, ear nose & throat surgery, family medicine, oral & maxillofacial surgery, oral pathology, periodontal surgery, as well as advanced endodotic procedures.  During his year in Mississippi he published an article in oral pathology in conjunction with Dr. Sigurd Krolls, a world renowned and distinguished oral pathologist.

After completing his residency, Dr. Suarez moved back home to Nevada and in the summer of 1994 opened his private practice in the great city of Las Vegas.  Ten years later, Dr. Suarez continues to focus on furthering his education through various Continuing Dental Education Seminars and meetings in addition to running his practice, Signature Smiles - Cosmetic, Family and Sports Dentistry.   Signature Smiles is a Family Dental Practice with a focus on Cosmetic Dentistry.   Dr. Suarez has many professional athletes, Las Vegas celebrities, as well as numerous medical professional as patients and is proud of his office for Excellent and Superior Customer Service.   Dr. Suarez has privileges in several surgery centers to provide general anesthesia.  If patients require we also can perform oral sedation in our office.

Dr. Suarez is a proud son, father, and husband.  His wife Barbara, with his son Nicholas and daughter Sofia, reside in Las Vegas.
